My Buddy

Sage is an 8 year old Alaskan Husky - Siberian Husky mix and retired sled dog. He is a direct descendant of the Joe Redington bloodline of champion Alaskan Iditarod sled dogs.
Sage spent his first 7 years of his life pulling traditional freight sleds and passengers at Mammoth Dog Teams in Mammoth Lakes, California, for owner and operator, Jim Ouimet. He now enjoys sleeping in the sun and getting his neck scratched, plus an occasional Milk Bone.

Sage's New Teammates, Frostbite & River, born on the Mendenhall Glacier, outside of Juneau, Alaska. Frostbite and River are prodigy of multiple lines of Yukon Quest and Iditarod sled dogs, some of the toughest, smartest, & most capable northern bred dogs in the world.
